Home Buyer Tax Credit Extension/Expansion
November 1, 2009
Good Morning,
I have some wonderful news to
share with each of you. Yesterday, Congress reached a
deal and is close to passing legislation to extend and
expand the Homebuyer Tax Credit for a limited time with
some very special changes.
Here are the highlights of the proposal:
First time homebuyers: $8000 Credit extended until April
30th, 2010.
Existing homebuyers: Eligible for a $6500 credit. Must
have lived in property for five years.
Income limits raised: Individuals to $125,000; Couples
up to $250.000.
The credits will be in effect until April 30th, 2010. If
there is a bona fide contract on April 30th, borrowers
will have an additional 60 days to close the sale.
Keep in mind that there are still some procedural
hurdles to overcome before its official, but we expect
those to be worked out in the next few days.
We will keep you posted.
From our Money Back Guarantee Program to our innovative
finance programs to our Apartment Dwellers Trade In
Program to our Showcase of Homes Television Show, etc…no
one can match what it is we bring to the table for our
clients! Please call me at 724-944-6655 for real estate
assistance. I am here to help!
Sincerely,
