PAYROLL TAX HOLIDAY:
You may hear THIS
PHONY CLAIM from some on news and talk shows.
THE LIE: They are
saying that a payroll tax holiday will hurt Seniors because it
reduces funds to support Medicare and Social Security. THIS IS
FALSE! THE TRUTH:
Any reduction in funds flowing to Social Security
and Medicare, caused by the payroll tax holiday, will be FULLY
replaced with funds from general revenues. Even so, it may not
be in the long term interest of Seniors if the government
makes a habit of using these taxes as a method of stimulating
growth, so we feel that 2012 should be the last time this is
done.
It is critical that we
Seniors listen very carefully to what is being said during the
coming election year. Misinformation is presented, repeated
endlessly, and then accepted as the gospel truth by millions.
SeniorArk will try to stay on top of this, AND PRESENT THE
TRUTH IN THIS GREEN-BORDERED BOX NOW, AND ALL THROUGH 2012.
Armed with the truth, Seniors can make informed decisions next
November. Find it here.
