DO YOU WANT A
CHRISTIAN PRESIDENT?
Robert Fassbach, editor,

******* PART 1
I want a
Christian President. Call me a bigot, closed minded, wrongheaded -
- whatever. I will NEVER cast a Presidential vote for a
non-Christian candidate. And if you want a Christian President in
2013, you have only one choice - - President Barack Obama.
President
Obama has made his faith clear. He has stated with conviction
that, as the result of his experiences in Chicago,
"...it
was through that experience, working with pastors and laypeople,
trying to heal the wounds of hurting neighborhoods, that I came to
know Jesus Christ for myself and embrace him as my Lord and
Savior.” But he also vents frustration that despite more
than 20 years as a practicing Christian, people still question his
religious persuasion. His family was not actively Christian, but
through fasting, privacy and prayer, Mr. Obama describes his
awakening similar to the born-again experience I have had
myself.
Reflecting
on Easter at this year's prayer breakfast, Mr. Obama said,
"It’s an
opportunity for us to reflect on the triumph of the resurrection,
and to give thanks for the all-important gift of grace. And for
me, and I’m sure for some of you, it’s also a chance to remember
the tremendous sacrifice that led up to that day, and all that
Christ endured – not just as a Son of God, but as a human being."
At this same prayer
breakfast, the President said he takes heart in Jesus' statement:
"In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart! I have overcome the world."
For years I have heard Billy
Graham say "Believe in your heart, and then stand up here with me
and confess your faith before men." Obama has done that. He is a
born-again Christian.
******* PART 2
Mormons are NOT Christians.
Mitt (Willard) Romney is a Mormon Bishop. Mormons are NOT a
splintered off denomination or variation of Christianity. They are an
American-created faith that rejects Christianity, and borrows a
few Christian ideas, as well as the name of Jesus, that confuse
folks.
On Sept. 21, 1823, when he was a
boy 17 years old, Joseph Smith Jr. said an angel called Moroni,
who was supposed to be the son of Mormon, the leader of the people
called the Nephites who had lived in the Americas, appeared to him
and told him that he had been chosen to translate the book of
Mormon which was compiled by Moroni's father around the 4th
century. The book was written on golden plates hidden near where
Joseph was then living in Palmyra, New York. Joseph Smith said
that on Sept. 22, 1827 he received the plates and the angel Moroni
instructed him to begin the translation process. The translation
was finally published in 1830 as the Book of Mormon. Joseph
claimed that during this translation process, John the Baptist
appeared to him and ordained him to accomplish the divine work of
restoring the true church by preaching the true gospel which,
allegedly, had been lost from the earth. Where the Christian Bible
differs from the Book of Mormon, it is said that the Christian
Bible is wrong.

Dr. R.
Albert Mohler, Jr., President of the Southern Baptist Theological
Seminary states: "Mormonism
rejects Christian orthodoxy as the very argument for its own
existence, and it clearly identifies historic Christianity as a
false faith." Dr. Mohler says further:
"Contemporary Mormonism presents the Book of Mormon as "another
testament of Jesus Christ," but
the Jesus of the Book of Mormon is
not the only begotten Son of God, the second person of the
Trinity, or the one through whose death on the cross we can be
saved from our sins."
Pastor Cooper P. Abrams III says in
an article
"The god of the Mormons is not the God of the Bible.
To the Mormons,
Jesus, is the first born son of an exalted "man" who became the
god of this world. According to LDS church teaching, their god was
first a man who became a god. The man-god of Mormonism was then
made the god of this world because of his good works on another
planet somewhere out in the Universe. He "earned" godhood, and was
thus appointed by a counsel of gods in the heavens to his high
position as the god of planet Earth.
The Mormon god of this world was a man, like all men on earth.
This is what the celestial marriage and the temple vows are all
about. LDS men, by doing their temple work, are striving for
exaltation by which they too shall one day can become a god. Their
wives will be the mother goddesses of "their" world and with their
husband will produce the population of their world. This is the
Mormon doctrine of "eternal progression." Read more:(

Romney may be a good man, with a
good family, a lot of money and four homes. But he is NOT A
CHRISTIAN. In fact, he spent years in France, going door-to-door,
two-by-two,
to persuade Christians to leave Christianity.
I cannot vote for a non Christian. I
may not, and do not, agree with every detail of the Obama
policies, but his relationship with Christ gives us the only
Christian choice in this election. He too is a good man with a
good family. But he has given his life to my Savior, and I
ultimately choose to trust him.
